FoxPro is dead. Microsoft has completely abandoned support for this product. Newer versions of Windows do not support older programs written in FoxPro.

When FoxPro was a viable development tool, we wrote thusands of lines of code and created a number of large enterpise applications. More importantly, in recent years we have converted a number of legacy FoxPro applications to newer platforms such as ASP.Net and SQL Server.

It is interesting to note that there are few individuals around anymore that actually know how to program with FoxPro and fewer still that know the language well enough to convert a FoxPro application and database to a modern platform. Similar to the astronauts in the movie Space Cowboys, these guys are hard to find!
